Overview of ISO 41001 Foundation
ISO 41001 Foundation training enables participants to learn the basic elements to implement and manage a Facility Management System (FMS) as specified in ISO 41001. During this training course, you will be able to understand the different modules of an FMS, including FMS policy, procedures, performance measurements, management commitment, internal audit, management review and continual improvement.
After completing this course, participants can sit for the exam. Once participants meet the pass mark, he/she will be given a “SandBP Certified ISO 41001 Foundation” credential. A SandBP Foundation Certificate shows that the participants have understood the fundamental methodologies, requirements, framework and management approach.

- Understand the elements and operations of a Facility Management System and its principal processes
- Acknowledge the correlation between ISO 41001 and other standards and regulatory frameworks
- Understand the approaches, methods and techniques used for the implementation and management of an FMS
Examination Details
- Candidates will be assessed by the following method:
- Multiple-choice type questions: This will be at the end of the course.
- The duration of the written exam is 60 mins (1hr).
- Minimum passing criteria is 70% in the online examination.
Certification
- Candidates who scores 70% and above in the written examination will be issued an accredited SandBP certificate.
- In case you do not meet the pass mark, you can retake the exam for FREE after the first attempt while subsequent retakes would come at a cost.
